I’m a photographer who focuses on authentic advertising, lifestyle, and portraiture. This newsletter is my outlet to let go and share thoughts, photographs, experiences and behind the scenes. If you are curious and have not subscribed yet, you can do now. It means the world to me! :)
Hey you all!
There was quite something going on the past two months — too much to keep you updated earlier, but maybe that was meant to be.
1. NEW OFFICE SPACE
Oh god, this is such an important and exciting step for me. Since June, I have my own desk in a shared office space in Innsbruck, surrounded by creatives, access to a studio and everything I need to focus on work without mixing my private life with anything work related. Sure, this step comes with additional monthly costs, but I can tell you that it makes so much sense — not only to grow as a creative, but also, and more importantly, mentally.
My desk/office is still work in progress, but slowly it is getting how I like it to be. Maybe I’ll show you the space in a future newsletter. 😊
2. NEW PROJECTS AND WORK
In the April update, I told you about a portfolio project with support from the Italian brand AlbaOptics. I’ve shot part two of the project in the end of June and within the next weeks I’ll upload the results to my portfolio website. Here a some film shots:
Further, my plan was to expand my portfolio with more lifestyle / fashion(ish) projects — Therefor I reached out to SPModels and did a shoot with Finn, who did so well in front of my camera. I’m super happy with the results, as they have turned out exactly how I imagined them to be. Below you can see a small selection — Soon you can see all images on my website and social media (I’ll keep you posted).
July started with a very special opportunity. For the very first time for me, I had the chance to experience Challenge Roth, one of the most important and biggest triathlon races in the world. The plan was to follow and document the race of athlete Johanna Ahrens and besides that do a small shooting for her sponsor POWERBAR.
The race was such a great experience. A very long day full of emotions and beautiful moments. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and the day so special!
3. ASSISTING IN MUNICH
For two days in June, I traveled to Munich to be part of a film production for Paul Green. As a production assistant, I could not only gain experience in the world of video and how productions are organized, I also met so many kind people. It was a pleasure to work together! I’m very thankful for opportunities like this!
Thank you, HOVN STUDIOS! 💛
4. TIME OFF
Taking some time off the day-to-day business is so important. Specially if you love what you do and work does not really feel like work, it can happen very fast that you forget to slow down, take some time off and enjoy some days with any obligations.
Together with my girlfriend we spent the last week in June with our families, followed by some days in a beautiful hotel in Viehhofen, Salzburg. Days full of nature, spa, yoga, “Kaspressknödel” aaand my birthday.
Everyone who has thought of me — THANK YOU! 💛
Everyone who made it this far — THANK YOU and hear us soon. 😊
The best place to see my work is my website. Other places to find me are Instagram and LinkedIn.
